First Turban-wearing Sikh to be UK High Sheriff - RESHAM SINGH

Resham Singh , a prominent Sikh-Briton leader selected as the new High Sheriff of Leicestershire, United Kingdom, says he is honoured and deems it a matter of privilege to serve the office. He was awarded the MBE in 2002, migrated to Leicestershire from Punjab 38 years ago.

He will be the first turban-wearing Sikh in the UK to hold the office of High Sheriff.
