Jasbir Singh

Lieutenant Jasbir Singh , is the
first turbaned Sikh regular officer in the Canadian Air Force as Air Field Engineer. Thirty five-year-old Jasbir Singh, a native of Ludhiana's Dhothar Village, arrived in Canada in 1999 after completing his post graduation in engineering from Punjab Agriculture University. He did his Bachelors of Engineering from G.N.E. Engineering. Jasbir can speak five languages, that include English, Punjabi, Hindi, Sanskrit and Urdu. In addition to these Jasbir is also going to learn French, which he says will give him a greater chance for promotion.
